1 cup cooked chickpeas
¼ cup fresh cilantro, chopped
¼ cup lime juice
salt, pepper, chili flakes
- In a bowl place the chickpeas, avocado, and lime and mash together until desired texture.
- Mix in the fresh cilantro.
- Season with salt and pepper.
- Spread mixture onto whole grain bread.
- Sprinkle chili flakes for some extra kick if desired.
Avocados do turn brown after a while due to oxidation from the air. For best results prepare and serve immediately. However, they still taste delicious and are nutritious for the next day.
