Looking for a quick side dish for dinner or holiday feast? Try these Mediterranean inspired green beans. This dish is a favorite in Middle Eastern kitchens (it’s called fasooliyeh bil zayt, which means green beans with olive oil). It is simple yet so flavorful from the fresh garlic and cilantro. It’s cooked with olive oil which gives it a distinct taste, not to mention the health benefits (I use extra virgin olive oil). This side dish can be cooked in a skillet and is ready in under 15 minutes. You can use fresh or frozen green beans, whatever is convenient for you. You can even make it ahead and serve it the next day. It’s a great way to add some tasty vegetables to your meal!
